Is shipping free?
Yes - shipping is free on all orders across India.

 

What payment options are available?
Debit card, credit card, and net banking are accepted. As all products are made to order, we do not offer Cash on Delivery.

You may also choose part-payment by direct bank transfer — a 50% advance to begin production and 50% before dispatch, after we share photos and videos of your finished product. Select Bank Transfer at checkout to use this option.

 

Is payment safe?
Yes. We use industry-standard PCI/DSS security for all payments. Payment credentials are handled solely by the payment gateway; House of Woodworm never stores your payment details.

 

What is the estimated delivery time?
Products are typically manufactured and dispatched within 5-6 weeks of order confirmation. This varies with workload and season, and the estimate for your order is shown at checkout. Fully custom pieces made from scratch may take longer.

 

How do I track my order?
Sign in at woodworm.in and visit the order-tracking page, or use the guest Order Status page with your email or phone number. You'll see order confirmation, manufacturing progress, quality check, and dispatch details. If you haven't heard from us within 10 days of ordering, call us or email care@woodworm.in.

 

Can I cancel my order?
You may cancel within 24 hours of placing the order; payment-gateway charges are deducted from the refund. After 24 hours the product enters manufacturing and cannot be cancelled.

 

What should I do if my product arrives damaged?
All products include transit-damage protection. Report any damage within 24 hours of delivery to care@woodworm.in with photographs. Our standard remedy is repair or replacement at no cost. For transit-damage pickup we collect free of charge - just repack the item in its original packaging and share images of the packed shipment with our aftersales team.

 

What should I check on delivery?
Inspect all external surfaces for cracks, chips, unfinished patches, or infestation; check that floor-standing items stand stable (install the supplied bushes for any leg under 5 mm uneven); sit on seating to confirm stability; and check fabrics.

Natural grain variation and minor stain differences are normal in hardwood. In summer, hardwood may expand slightly and drawers can stick - this is normal and eases as the season passes.

After delivery and inspection, damage from mishandling or rough usage is not the company's responsibility.

 

What about a manufacturing defect?
Report it within 24 hours of delivery to care@woodworm.in with photos. We'll assess within 2 business days and repair or replace as appropriate.

 

Can I return a custom product?
Custom, made-to-order items are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect. In those cases, email care@woodworm.in with photos and proof of purchase; once approved, we repair or replace at no cost. See our Refund & Return Policy for refund eligibility.

 

When will I get my refund (where eligible)?
After the returned product is received and inspected, refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7–10 working days.

 

Can I choose any finish?
We recommend the default finish, but you may request any finish by telling our sales team before placing the order.

 

Are there assembly or installation charges?
No. Most items assemble easily with the included instructions. Heavier items that need a professional carpenter are arranged by us within 4 working days of delivery — contact aftersales for faster assembly.

 

Do you offer a warranty?
Yes:

  • Transit-damage protection — repair or replacement at no cost.
  • 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects (paint chipping, joints opening, warping). Damage due to mishandling or rough usage is not covered.
  • 3-year warranty against termite damage.

To claim warranty service, please pack the product(s) at your end - we then arrange a free reverse pickup, or you may send the product(s) to our manufacturing unit yourself.
